But now the Barbera selections of Renate Schütz, which she produces with the support of the experienced oenologist Guiliano Not and Beppe Rattazzo from Nice Monferrato, enjoy a positive international reputation.

Renate Schütz studied philosophy and had not planned to become a wine-maker.

But she fell in love with the old winery and worked with perseverance and obstinacy in the matter. A deep understanding of the needs of an intact environment, the love of flora and fauna, and the knowledge of the connections of the great whole was the basis of her work, which was and is always being observed.
